Chemical Engineer Mentor, Ivet Miranda inside a real industrial plant, surrounded by process equipment and pipelines.

Chemical Engineer Mentor

I am a chemical engineer mentor with two degrees in Chemical Engineering—one earned in Cuba and one in Italy—and over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and industrial sectors.

Throughout my career, I have worked as a Process Engineer, Project Engineer, and Process Safety Engineer in large-scale manufacturing plants. I’ve led complex projects from early design stages to the implementation of major equipment and systems.

These included capital investments (CAPEX) such as reactors, filters, heat exchangers, glove boxes, and safety devices. I’ve also performed HAZOP analyses, supported plant start-ups, and resolved critical technical issues in high-complexity environments.

My work has taken me across three continents, where I contributed to safer, leaner, and more sustainable operations.

Today, I mentor young engineers and create technical content, tools, and training resources to help them grow faster, avoid common mistakes, and build safer and more effective engineering solutions.
