Chemical Engineer Mentor, Ivet Miranda inside a real industrial plant, surrounded by process equipment and pipelines.

Chemical Engineer Mentor | Process Safety, Process & Project Engineer

I am a chemical engineer mentor with two degrees in Chemical Engineering—one earned in Cuba and one in Italy—and over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and industrial sectors.

Why a Chemical Engineer Mentor?

With dual degrees in Chemical Engineering—first earned in Cuba and later at La Sapienza University of Rome (San Pietro in Vincoli campus).
Over the past 20+ years, I’ve worked as a Process Engineer, Project Engineer, and for nearly a decade as a Process Safety Engineer in integrated chemical and pharmaceutical plants.

I’ve led major CAPEX projects, conducted HAZOP studies, supported plant start-ups, and solved complex technical issues across Europe and Latin America. These roles shaped not just my skills, but my mindset as a mentor—someone who now chooses to guide others.

Since July 2024, I’ve focused on transforming this experience into practical online resources to help junior engineers grow with confidence. Through technical content, tools, and structured guidance, my goal is to share the kind of real-world insight I wish I had at the beginning of my career.

If you’re looking to grow as a process engineer, project engineer, or enter the world of process safety, my mission is to turn two decades of experience into tools that truly help.
